How we got Started!

In 1995 a friend of mine bred his 100lb. Lab (Bud) to a large Chocolate female. He was to get pick of the litter and said I could have it. I was so excited because I had wanted a Chocolate male. When the litter arrived, to everyone’s surprise there were no chocolates only black and yellows. I told my wife I was going to pass and not take one but she is more partial to yellow and kept insisting that we take one. My friend said it was the bloodline that I wanted and not to worry about the color. I went and looked at them and picked out the largest yellow lab they had and brought him home. He is the smartest Lab I have ever had and a pleaser also.

When it came time to train him for duck hunting, I didn’t have to teach him a thing, he was a natural. He is all business when it comes to hunting or retrieving. He is the best working dog I have ever had and yet lays by me at night to watch movies. He is my best friend and I am so glad he has come into our lives. This is how we got started in our Labs. This is our Weiser.

I have brought the best bloodlines possible to Southeast Iowa. We now have three (3) males and six (6) females all from various parts of the states, including Tennessee, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Michigan, Long Island, NY and Kentucky. If you are looking for your first lab or if you need to add another one to your family you need one of our Labradors.
